About Us

Ferrell's Flooring has been serving the Carolinas since 1990, providing high quality flooring products to individuals and contractors at competitive prices. We meet with our customers by appointment at their convenience and provide a one-on-one informative and relaxed sales experience to make their flooring selections. We keep up with the latest trends in flooring and help our customers make the best selections that provide real value and meet their needs. 

We have a reputation in the upstate of South Carolina and Charlotte N. C. surrounding area for providing high quality flooring products professionally installed with minimal call backs. We are known for our personal interest and involvement with each individual sale and installation. We visit each jobsite on the day installation is completed and ensure our customers are satisfied. We have very low overhead which allows us to be very competitive in the market. 

We are a family-owned and operated business and we live and work in the community we serve. 

Our Team:
Our company Ferrell's Flooring is a mom-and-pop operation, Steve and Cathy Ferrell. Cathy is the primary sales person. She is very knowledgeable on flooring products with 30 years experience in the business. In the past Steve's primary involvement has been to take off jobs and figure up material needs. Since retiring from Duke Energy in March of 2016, Steve has taken a more active role in the business. Steve and Cathy raised their two sons Adam and Mark in Clover S. C. where the business is located. Steve and Cathy have been active members of First Baptist Church of Clover for more than 30 years. 

Our contracted installers have been with us for years. They are very professional, knowledgeable and have minimal call backs. We partner with building contractors and meet with their clients to help them make flooring selections that keep them within their building allowance. We have maintained partnerships with several builders in our area for more than 25 years. 

We meet with our customers by appointment only. We work with them to select a time that best fits their schedule, including evenings. We spend as much time as needed with each customer to allow them to select the best flooring products.This sometimes involves more than one meeting and we often order samples and have them shipped directly to them. 

We (Steve and Cathy) became friends with a family who moved to our area in 1984 from Georgia. The husband's family owned and operated a carpet mill in Georgia. Both our families were young and just starting out. Steve has a sales background and so we decided to try and sell carpet in our area to make some extra money on the side. Before long we realized we needed more carpet selections than this mill was producing to compete with our competition. His family was interested in helping us and formed a small carpet wholesale business to provide us with a larger selection. They became a Philadelphia dealer which provided us with the product lines we needed to be competitive. By 1990 the other family had moved back to Georgia and we opened Ferrell's Flooring Inc. for business. Since 1990 Cathy has operated our business and Steve worked for Duke Energy. Steve retired from Duke Energy in March of 2016 and joined his wife in operating Ferrell's Flooring.
